The County Gates Gyratory was closed and Wessex Way was blocked due to an incident in the area on Monday evening at around 6.30pm.
There was heavy congestion due to the closures in Westbourne and around The Avenue, Seamoor Road and Poole Road.

Emergency services have been contacted for more information but they have not responded at the time of updating this article (8pm).
