Bournemouth West MP Jessica Toale to join with partners for three housing ‘super surgeries’

Bournemouth West MP Jessica Toale is bringing together partners for three ‘super surgeries’ focused on housing.

They follow conversations with residents concerned about a range of housing issues.

The MP, and her team, has partnered with other local agencies for the events, including Citizens Advice, Shelter, St Mungo’s, Dorset Police and the Department for Work and Pensions.

The first surgery is tomorrow at West Howe. Anyone interested in attending must pre-register.

Jessica said: “In recent months, I have been deeply concerned by the growing number of residents raising issues related to housing, ranging from poor-quality accommodation, people in temporary housing, neighbourhood anti-social behaviour, and homelessness.

“To address these challenges, I will be hosting three ‘housing super surgeries,’ aimed at providing constituents with the opportunity to share their specific concerns and receive advice and guidance from local organisations who specialise in these issues.”

The housing surgeries are:

  • Friday 17th January at Henry Brown Centre in West Howe
  • Friday 31st January at Bourne Community Hub in Alderney
  • Friday 14th February at Winton Royal British Legion

A bigger ‘town hall’ style event will take place on Saturday 1st March near Cemetery Junction where constituents can raise broader concerns and learn about the government’s priorities as they relate to Bournemouth West.

Anyone interested in attending any of these sessions should register interest via Jessica Toale’s website, or contact the MP’s office, where they will be provided with further details about timings and venues.
