Vue Cinema in Preston
Vue is to replace Cineworld at Poole’s Tower Park in 2025.
The news comes following Cineworld’s announcement earlier this month that it will be closing the site on January 19th 2025.
The complex currently has 16-screens, after opening with 10 screens in 1989 under the AMC brand and having a refurb in 2008.
It has also been known as the Empire Cinema and UCI.
It will be Vue’s only cinema site in Dorset, even though the company has 92 venues across the UK with 876 screens in total. Its nearest neighbour will be Eastleigh.
A Vue spokesperson told Bournemouth One: “We can confirm that we will be coming to Tower Park, Poole.
“We’re very much looking forward to bringing guests the ultimate big screen experience in the new year and will share more information in due course.”
