Several areas including Studland Bay, Sandbanks, Poole Harbour, Bournemouth Beach, Hengistbury Head and Christchurch Harbour are at risk of flooding.
The Environment Agency has put in place a flood alert following higher than usual tides due to unsettled weather with force 7 south-westerly winds, and forecasted total wave height of 3.8m
Flooding to roads and low lying land is possible and conditions can apply one to two hours either side of high tide at 5.45am on Monday.
People are asked to be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and sea spray could be dangerous.
