Businesses are being urged to book their places at next month’s Dorset Business Festival Conference.
The event, on October 9, is one of the highlights of the Dorset Chamber-organised Business Festival.
The festival is being held over two weeks from September 30 to October 10 and also includes a Festival Expo and the Dorset Business Awards.
Ian Girling, Dorset Chamber’s Chief Executive, pictured left, told Bournemouth One: “The theme of the conference is business is a force for good.
“We’ll be celebrating the importance business plays within society and the positive impact it has in society.
“It’s going to be a really good day.
“We going to be discussing some key issues for business including staff retention, business ethics and reducing our environmental footprint.
“The day will also offer a really strong networking opportunity for businesses.
“It’s going to be a fantastic event.
“Our keynote speaker is Benita Matofska [pictured] who is an expert on the circular economy and climate change.
“We are also going to have Lord Matthew Elliott who is the President of the Jobs Foundation.
“The event is to be hosted by Declan Curry, the well-known BBC presenter.
“It’s going to be a really excellent day.”
