The Cliff Top Music Festival in Highcliffe has introduced a park and ride service to help ease parking issues.
The event, now in its second year, is an annual celebration of music, community, and culture, with family friendly entertainment featuring a variety of live performances, food stalls, and activities for all ages.
This year’s theme is inspired by the 1970s and organisers are promising a nostalgic and lively atmosphere for all attendees from 11am till 7pm.
The Sounds of the O’Jays takes the headline slot at 6pm, with many more local and tribute acts on from 11am, starting with Sara Harris.
You can see the full programme here.
The Park and Ride service will operate from Fawcett’s Field Car Park in New Milton, with buses running approximately every half hour. Attendees will be dropped off at the BCP Council Overspill Car Park on Wharncliffe Road, just a short walk from the festival grounds.
Mandy Polkey, Managing Director of Stir Events CIC, the team behind the festival, told Bournemouth One: “Last year, we were thrilled to see an unexpected number of visitors at the festival, which was wonderful but did lead to some parking issues.
“This year, we are fortunate to have received generous sponsorship, allowing us to introduce this Park and Ride service. We are confident it will greatly enhance the overall festival experience.”
The cost of the Park and Ride service is £1 each way. For those with accessibility needs, disabled parking is available on-site.
Tickets for the event are now on sale here.
