Pedestrian in his 70s seriously injured after collision with tipper lorry in Bournemouth
A man in his 70s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a tipper lorry in Bournemouth.
He was a pedestrian on Richmond Hill when the collision happened at around 10.30am yesterday, August 12.
The driver of the blue Mercedes lorry was not injured.
Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
Police Constable Duncan Roberts, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
“I understand there were two pedestrians who came to the aid of the injured man after the incident and I would urge them to please come forward so I can find out what they saw.
“I am also keen to hear from any other witnesses who have not already spoken to police or anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
