Antoine Semenyo has signed a new five-year contract with AFC Bournemouth.
The agreement is set to keep the Ghana international at Vitality Stadium until at least the summer of 2029.
Semenyo’s fresh deal comes after he helped the club total their record-breaking Premier League points tally of 48.
The 24-year-old played 33 times in the top flight last season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.
The forward netted in games against Liverpool, Burnley, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, as well as a memorable brace coming against Luton Town.
AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said: “It has been clear for all to see the rate of Antoine’s development since joining 18 months ago. He has gone from strength to strength, and enjoyed an incredible first full season with us.
“Agreeing on a new long-term contract was important for us to recognise his contribution as a key member of our squad, and we’re excited to see this continue for years to come.”
He has played 47 times for the Cherries in all competitions, having signed from Bristol City in January 2023.
