Bournemouth Reggae Weekender has chosen the Pink Ribbon Foundation as its charity partner for this month’s event.
The collaboration aims to raise awareness and support for breast cancer initiatives within the local community.
Bournemouth Reggae Weekender will donate 30 per cent of ticket sale proceeds to the charity.
The event takes place in King’s Park from Friday July 26 to Sunday July 28.
Lisa J Allen, Head of Corporate Partnerships, PR and Events at Pink Ribbon Foundation, said: “The event will be a fabulous opportunity to spread awareness and promote the importance of self-checking, something that almost 50 per cent of women in the UK don’t do regularly.
“We look forward to seeing everyone and, also, to the amazing music on offer.”
Rachel Kasujja, Bournemouth Reggae Weekender’s Head of Marketing, said: “Partnering with Pink Ribbon Foundation is a significant step for us in giving back to our community.
“By dedicating a portion of ticket sales to such a worthy cause, we hope to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.”
