A section of Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens is to be transformed into the resort’s first-ever outdoor roller rink this summer.
Summer Skate will be inviting people of all ages to get their skates on from July 19 to August 26.
In addition to the main skating area, the event will also feature:
- Morning yoga and fitness classes led by expert instructors from RISE Bournemouth
- Special event nights such as Motown, 80’s night, quiz nights and events with themed activities and entertainment for all ages
- Street food truck with outdoor seating areas
- Airstream Bar serving ice-cold drinks & cocktails
- Barista Coffee from Bournemouth town centre business Bobby’s Parlour
- Live music performances
- Film nights using the event’s dedicated big screen
