Date set for first live Q&A session of the year with Council leader Vikki Slade

Council Leader Vikki Slade has announced details of her first live Q&A session of the year.

It’ll take place online with questions from Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole residents on Thursday 18 January, from 12.30pm.

Comments can be submitted in advance via LiveQandA@bcpcouncil.gov.uk or contributed in real-time via the streaming platform or social channels.

Councillor Slade said: “Our continuing ambition is to put people at the heart of all our services, and I know from personal experience that the work done by our officers really makes a difference to people’s lives.

“I am starting the year by joining both our traffic enforcement and street cleaning teams as they’re out and about so I can see first-hand the fantastic job that they do and the challenges that they face, and I welcome questions about any of our services areas and the work we do.

“The future of Bournemouth town centre remains a priority for all of us and I’m also looking forward to answering questions on this and sharing some of the ideas and insights from November’s Bournemouth Town Centre Summit.”

The session will be streamed across the council’s main social media channels including on youtube.com/bcpcouncil and is available to watch later for those unable to tune in live.
