Dorset Police responded to over 200 incidents across the county between midnight and 5am following the New Year celebrations.
As a result 37 people were held in the force’s custody suites.
In a social media post, Dorset Police thanked them for spending time away from their friends and family, allowing everyone else to celebrate safely.
