Over the Christmas and New Year period there will be changes to the regular bin collection days by BCP Council.
As a general rule, between Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve, the collection day will be one day after the current day.
There will be no collections on Boxing Day, Monday 26 December. Collection crews will be working on Saturday 31 December to accommodate for this change.

Extra rubbish and recycling
BCP do not take extra bags of rubbish or recycling that are placed on top of or next to your bin. Recycling centres are available and open till 1pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. They will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Christmas trees are not collected with rubbish or recycling collections, but there are multiple options for recycling your Christmas tree.
