A crew from Verwood Fire Station has recused a deer trapped in a gate at Verwood Care Home.
The deer was being cared for at the time by Moyles Court Animal Rescue.
Hydraulic rescue equipment was used to spread the bars and release the deer.
Attempts to release the deer weren’t successful so it was taken back to Moyles Court for rest and rehabilitation.
The incident happened around 10am on Tuesday 18th January 2022.
