Verwood Carnival returns to weekend-long event for 2019

The committee for the Verwood Carnival is working on bringing back the traditional two-day event this year.

It’ll start on Saturday afternoon with Coles Fair, and the BMX stunt team will be running a skills and tricks workshop in the Carnival field to cater for all ages.

Sponsors and supporters are encouraged to get in touch with the organisers to help fund the event.

The search is also on for this year’s Carnival Queen and Princesses, with the theme of Rose Garden. Click here for more details on how to enter.

The committee is sticking with tradition by only allowing girls to enter the competition again this year.

The main Verwood Carnival event will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 27th May 2019 starting with the town procession.
