Simon Brodkin will headline a stand up comedy night at The Barn in Ringwood on 1 May.
The Coastal Comedy Show is returning to the venue with a line up led by Simon, who became widely known for characters including Lee Nelson and for television appearances on Live at the Apollo, Sunday Night at the Palladium and Children in Need.
He has also attracted attention for headline making public stunts, and is now performing as himself after his recent Screwed Up tour was extended 4 times, including 3 sold out nights at London’s Hammersmith Apollo and an appearance at the Royal Variety Performance.
Joining him on the bill is Louis Burgess, a UK based musical comedy act whose performances combine singing, rapping, beatboxing, looping, sampling and live instrumentation, and Alistair Williams, described by Chortle as having “Rough diamond charm”.
Adrienne Coles from Coastal Comedy Club will host the triple bill, with Brodkin’s live set praised as “Electrifying crowdwork” and Burgess and Williams completing a varied night of stand up at the Ringwood venue.
