Spring family shows come to Bournemouth
A fresh run of family shows is heading to Bournemouth Pavilion and the BIC this year.
The new programme adds to the venues’ wider calendar of comedy, music, musicals and cultural performances, with dates stretching from April through to January and giving Bournemouth families a wide choice of live entertainment close to home.
Among the spring highlights are Taylormania on 12 April, Peppa Pig’s Family Show on 21 and 22 April, Unicorn Live! on 30 May, and Ministry of Science Live on 13 June, alongside musicals including Blood Brothers, Mean Girls and Barnum.
Later in the year, Dinosaurs Live! arrives on 11 July, Bluey’s Big Play runs from 6 to 9 August, and Aladdin opens the festive season from 5 December, with Noel Brodie returning as Wishee Washee for his 12th year.
Nicola Coney said the season brings a “vibrant mix of live entertainment” and gives families more chances to share “unforgettable experiences” at Bournemouth Pavilion and Bournemouth International Centre.
She added: “Whether you’re introducing little ones to theatre for the first time, or enjoying a family favourite together, we’re proud to offer so many opportunities for our communities to come together.”
