
Police appeal after bus passenger racially abused
Police are appealing for witnesses after a racially aggravated public order incident on a bus in Wimborne.
Officers say a man was racially abusive towards another passenger on the number 13 Morebus shortly after it departed Wimborne Square at around 10.30pm on Tuesday 24 March.
Dorset Police say they are exploring all lines of enquiry as part of their investigation.
Police Constable Kayleigh Barguss said officers take all reports of hate crime very seriously and are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
She is particularly urging passengers who were travelling on the bus at the time to come forward if they saw what happened or have any information that could assist enquiries.
