New fan zone plan introduced at Tatnam

A revised stadium layout will change how supporters use the Tatnam Ground during non segregated matches.

Poole Town Football Club says the updated plan follows an extensive review of facilities and matchday operations, along with feedback from fans and community stakeholders, to help improve the management of games and supporter safety.

The changes introduce a larger Home Fan Zone, extending the current area to include the northeast corner beside the dugouts, creating a space where younger families can stand together and watch matches away from visiting supporters if they choose.

New permanent no go areas will also be introduced at both ends of the ground so staff and players can move freely, with additional fencing installed and some toilets relocated as part of the new layout.

Extra stewards will monitor the area behind the dugouts, while additional security professionals and volunteers will be positioned across the ground and on surrounding routes before and after matches, with CCTV and video recording used to address antisocial behaviour and share images with Dorset Police if required.
