KT Tunstall set for special Poole gig
Scottish singer KT Tunstall will perform at Lighthouse Poole this summer for a special concert.
Priority booking for Lighthouse Friends opens on 11 March before general release on 13 March, as the Grammy nominated and Brit Award winning musician returns to the south coast for a Concert Hall performance on 19 June.
Tunstall first rose to global attention in 2004 after a solo appearance on Later with Jools Holland where she performed Black Horse and the Cherry Tree using guitar, loop pedal and tambourine.
Reflecting on that moment, she said it showed how a song can connect when performed live, adding that audiences enjoyed seeing someone take a risk on stage and pull it off.
Her debut album Eye to the Telescope produced hits including Black Horse and the Cherry Tree, Other Side of the World and Suddenly I See, helping establish her as a distinctive voice in folk pop and rock.
More than two decades on, she continues to tour internationally, compose for film and theatre, and celebrate the anniversary of Eye to the Telescope with special live performances for audiences.
