Poole police appeal after serious collision
Officers are appealing for witnesses after a serious fail to stop collision on the A3049 Canford Way in Poole left a motorcyclist in hospital.
Dorset Police received a report at 5.17pm on Tuesday 17 February 2026 of a collision involving a car and a red Honda motorbike. It was reported that the driver of the car left the scene following the incident.
The motorbike rider, a local man aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment to a serious injury.
Police Sergeant Chris Brolan, of Poole police, said officers are carrying out enquiries and are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened. He also urged motorists who were travelling in the area to check their dashcam footage for anything that may assist the investigation.
