A new Slim Chickens restaurant will open in Poole next month, creating 60 jobs.
The American-born chicken chain will launch at the Leisure and Retail Complex at Tower Park on Wednesday 25 March, after a £750,000 investment into one of the former Pizza Hut units on Yarrow Road.
The Poole site becomes the seventh operated by JRK Restaurants and adds to its presence on the South Coast, alongside existing branches in Bournemouth and Southampton, further expanding the brand’s footprint across the region.
General Manager Brandon Schneider will head up the new team and said they are “really excited” to be investing locally and bringing a new restaurant and jobs to the area, adding that they “can’t wait” to welcome customers through the doors.
The restaurant will provide dine in, takeaway and delivery options, serving freshly prepared chicken including hand breaded tenders, wings, Texas Toast, sides and a range of house made dipping sauces.
Founded in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Slim Chickens has expanded across the UK with a focus on cooked to order food, with each tender marinated in buttermilk, hand breaded and prepared fresh for customers.
