Firefighters tackled a fire in the roof space of a block of flats in Bournemouth yesterday, with a large multi-crew response sent to the scene.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to Alumhurst Road at around 12.02pm on Monday. Crews arrived to find a blaze affecting the roof of the building and immediately began firefighting operations to bring the incident under control.
At the height of the response, nine fire crews were in attendance, supported by an aerial ladder platform, a water carrier and a support unit.
