BCP Council has approved the Subsidised Bus Services Review to maintain vital connections across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
Officials say more than ninety-nine percent of trips on the current subsidised network will continue despite a slight reduction in funding from central Government.
The plan will retain Monday to Saturday, Sunday and evening services, while strengthening links to Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Poole, Penn Hill, Lilliput, Westbourne and Bournemouth.
Councillor Andy Hadley said working with Morebus ensures residents retain access to essential bus routes and supports around 1.3 million journeys across the area.
Cabinet’s recommendation will be discussed by Full Council at a later date.
