Kate Bush orchestra tour ends in Poole

An orchestral Kate Bush tribute will bring a debut tour finale to Poole this December.

A new live production celebrating the music of Kate Bush is due to conclude its first UK tour at Lighthouse Poole on Sunday 13 December, with audiences invited to hear her songs performed by a live band alongside a full 18-piece orchestra.

Classically Kate Bush features material from across her career, including Cloudbusting, Hounds of Love, Babooshka, Wuthering Heights and Running Up That Hill, reworked into orchestral arrangements designed to reflect the scale and ambition of her original recordings.

The show is performed by The Hounds of Love, a group known for interpreting Kate Bush’s catalogue, offering audiences the chance to hear the songs presented live with classical instrumentation shaped around their original structures.

Interest in Kate Bush’s music has grown again in recent years, with her work reaching new listeners while continuing to resonate with long-standing fans, particularly following renewed chart success linked to its use in television drama.

Kate Bush is known for rarely performing live, making opportunities to experience her music in concert settings limited, and positioning this production as an alternative way for audiences to engage with her songs on stage.
