Three charged in Bournemouth drugs probe

Three men from Bournemouth have been charged following a major investigation into drug trafficking and money laundering by the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit.

The charges follow an inquiry covering alleged offences dating back to August 2025. Ben Muslin, aged 22, from Bath Road, Bournemouth, Caspian Tang, aged 19, from Roseberry Road, Bournemouth, and Richard Sills, aged 66, from Bradford Road, Bournemouth, all appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

Mr Muslin and Mr Sills are accused of conspiring to conceal, disguise, convert, transfer or remove criminal property. Mr Tang faces the same charge, along with allegations relating to the supply of class A drugs and possession with intent to supply cocaine.

All three men were remanded in custody and are due to appear next at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday twenty six February.

The court hearings follow two days of enforcement activity in the local area last week, carried out by the regional organised crime unit with support from Dorset Police. A further five men and one woman were released under investigation.

Searches carried out as part of the operation led to the seizure of drugs, cash and other items. These included half a kilo of cocaine, around seventy kilos of cannabis, more than one hundred thousand pounds in cash, weapons, high value watches, vehicles, designer clothing and jewellery.

Police are urging anyone with information about criminal activity in Bournemouth or the wider area to contact Dorset Police or Crimestoppers.
