Police are appealing for witnesses after a bus was damaged during an incident in Bournemouth on Friday evening.
Dorset Police said a rock was thrown at a bus travelling along Holdenhurst Road at around 7:30pm. Two men wearing black hooded jackets were reported to be involved.
The rock struck the vehicle and damaged its windows. No injuries were reported and the bus was able to continue its journey.
Police Constable James Allcroft-Reid said throwing items at a bus was completely unacceptable and could have serious consequences. He said the actions put people at risk and affected the ability of bus operators to safely serve the public.
Officers are carrying out enquiries in the area and are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw people acting suspiciously around Holdenhurst Road at the time.
Police are also asking drivers with dashcam footage and residents with doorbell or CCTV cameras to check their recordings.
