Concern grows for Spetisbury missing man

The family of a man reported missing from Spetisbury are appealing to the public for information as police continue searches.

Dorset Police say concerns were raised for forty nine year old Jamie after he was reported to have left his home address at around ten thirty in the morning on Friday nine January this year, with officers now working to trace his movements and check surrounding areas.

Jamie is described as being five feet eleven inches tall, of medium build, with dark brown hair, and enquiries suggest he was wearing a grey brown coat, jeans and wellington boots when he left, as officers continue to follow up information provided so far.

His family said he is missed and loved by many people, adding that they are extremely worried about him and want to make sure he returns safe and well, while asking anyone who may have seen him to contact police.

Detective Chief Inspector Paul Graham said officers are increasingly concerned for Jamie’s welfare and searches are continuing with support from the NPAS helicopter and Dorset Search and Rescue, while also asking landowners and the farming community to check land and outbuildings.

Anyone with information about Jamie’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police, quoting occurrence number 55260004050.
