The first themed skate party night of 2026 will take place at Bournemouth International Centre as Cool Coast Ice Rink presents BAE-SIC, a pop-themed session beginning at 7:15pm tonight.
The two-hour event will bring a soundtrack of chart favourites from artists including Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX, accompanied by a guest appearance from local drag performer Rougie.
Themed sessions throughout the season will feature playlists curated by We Break Free DJs, giving visitors a range of musical styles to choose from as the programme develops. Cool Coast Ice Rink, run by BH Live, operates seven days a week and will remain open until Sunday 22 February, including during the half-term holiday.
A variety of skating options are available, from beginner sessions at a slower pace to advanced sessions aimed at experienced skaters. Relaxed sessions also run midweek and on Saturdays for those who prefer a quieter environment. Private hire is offered for schools, groups and organisations seeking exclusive access to the rink for events or team activities.
Spectators and skaters can round off their visit with refreshments at the Alpine Bar. Further details, including booking information for themed sessions, are available online.
