Bournemouth police seek witnesses after crash

Police have appealed for witnesses and relevant dashcam footage following a serious injury collision in Bournemouth that left a woman in her fifties needing hospital treatment.

The collision between a blue Vauxhall Corsa and the pedestrian happened at about 1.10pm on Friday second January this year in Bourne Avenue, Dorset Police confirmed.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are conducting enquiries to understand the circumstances of the incident and have asked anyone who was in the area and saw what happened to come forward.

Police Constable Tom Ringer said officers were doing all they can to establish how the collision occurred and reiterated the request for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to make contact.
