Young people will be able to explore career and development opportunities with the Army at a public engagement event taking place in Bournemouth this year.
Meet Your Army will be held on Tuesday 3 February this year and will give residents the chance to speak directly with representatives from the British Army about the wide range of roles and pathways available to young people.
The event will focus on practical opportunities including apprenticeships, bursaries and more than 100 different trades, offering information for those who are curious about the Army as well as those considering it as a future career option.
Organisers say the session will also highlight the work of the Army’s youth teams, which provide free activities aimed at developing communication skills, teamwork, confidence and resilience in a supportive and structured environment.
The in person event will take place at the Highcliffe Marriott, giving local residents the opportunity to engage directly with Army teams and ask questions in an informal setting.
