Thrive and connect in Boscombe this year
A free community event focused on practical support and everyday opportunities is set to take place in Boscombe later this month.
Thrive in 2026 will bring together local residents, organisations and support services to help people improve their personal wellbeing, develop professionally and feel more connected socially, with the aim of making support easier to access in one place.
The event is being hosted by the Digital Skills Hub in partnership with BCP Council and is funded through BCP Council by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, building on the work delivered through the Thrive programme last year.
Organisers say the event is designed to connect people with advice, services and opportunities that can make a real difference to daily life, while also encouraging collaboration between organisations working across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.
Around 40 local businesses from the health and wellbeing sector are expected to attend, offering practical guidance to visitors and the chance for organisations to network and share ideas with each other.
Thrive in 2026 will take place at The Auger Collective in the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe, using the former Peacocks store space at the bus station end of the centre.
