Final weekend for Cinderella at Pavilion

The final performances of Cinderella are taking place at Bournemouth Pavilion this weekend, bringing the curtain down on the pantomime after a busy festive run.

With the Christmas break coming to an end, audiences are being given one last opportunity to see the production before everyday routines return, as the show prepares to close following weeks of performances over the holiday period.

The pantomime features Melanie Walters as the Fairy Godmother, Olivia Birchenough in the title role, and Noel Brodie as Buttons, alongside comedy duo Jamie Morris and Tarot Joseph, who appear as the Ugly Sisters, with the cast performing together for the final time.

Written by Jon Monie and produced by UK Productions, the show retells the traditional story with comedy, music and visual spectacle, and has been attended by a wide range of school groups during the festive season.

Bournemouth Pavilion has confirmed that schools and groups can already book for next year’s pantomime, Aladdin, which will include dedicated school performances, group bookings and a limited number of funded tickets for pupils on low incomes.
