Heavy rain and wind warning for Dorset
Flooding is likely today as heavy rain moves across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, with disruption expected for people travelling through the area.
The Met Office has a Yellow weather warning in place till 9pm across the south of England.
Bus and train services are likely to be affected, with longer journey times possible as water on tracks and roads slows services, while drivers should expect spray and flooding on some routes to make conditions more challenging during the day.
Coastal roads may be particularly affected at times, with spray and large waves creating tricky driving conditions, especially in exposed locations, and motorists are being advised to take extra care and allow more time for journeys.
People are being advised to check travel updates before setting off, avoid driving through flood water, and consider alternative arrangements if conditions worsen during periods of heavy rain.
