Cranborne Road near Wimborne is blocked both ways due to a collision at Knowlton, which is between the Horton Inn and the Verwood junction, with emergency services currently dealing with the serious incident.
The road is expected to be closed for some time.
DWFRS told Bournemouth One: “We received a call at 6.12pm this evening about a road traffic collision on Cranborne Road, Knowlton. Crews from Verwood and Wimborne attended the incident which involved two vehicles. Crews assisted police and ambulance colleagues.”
