Verwood choir set for Ringwood show
Vocalize Choir will bring a decades-themed show to Ringwood next year, with performances taking place at The Barn on Saturday 21 March 2026.
The event includes the group’s first matinee, which will be opened by Vocalize Youth in what will be their largest performance so far and their first appearance on a theatre stage.
The main production will span music from the 1960s to the 1990s, featuring arrangements of well-known tracks and a mix of ensemble pieces, choreography, and solo numbers.
Choir Director Stephanie Down said the commitment shown by members and the backing of families and friends over seven years has helped the choir continue to grow.
She said the choir now has more than fifty members who each contribute their own strengths.
Youth Choir Leader Mark Lowman said returning to The Barn for a second year reflects the support they received last year and the desire to offer two shows in one day.
He said the youth singers were looking forward to their first full theatre experience as part of the wider production.
