Cyclist in hospital after Bath Hill crash
A cyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car on Bath Hill in Bournemouth on Wednesday 3 December 2025.
Dorset Police were called at around 10.10am following the incident, which involved a blue Peugeot 308 and a bicycle travelling along the road.
The cyclist, a local man in his fifties, was taken to hospital for treatment, while the driver of the Peugeot was not hurt.
Police Sergeant Mike Burt, from the Roads Policing Team, said he is appealing to anyone who saw what happened, or the moments before the collision, to contact officers.
He said, “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or the moments leading up to it, to please come forward.”
Sergeant Burt added, “I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
Officers would like to hear from anyone with information and are asking people to get in touch online, by email, or by calling the non emergency number 101.
