A338 in Bournemouth is closed in both directions due to an incident between St Paul’s Roundabout and the Springbourne Roundabout with heavy congestion on all surrounding routes.
Surrounding routes including Holdenhurst Road, Richmond Park Road and Wimborne Road are all busy as a result.
Emergency services are dealing with another welfare incident: “We received a report at 1.07pm on Thursday 27 November 2025 raising concern for the welfare of a woman on a bridge over the A338 Wessex Way in Bournemouth.
“Officers are in attendance alongside the ambulance service and efforts are being made to engage with the woman.
“Road closures are currently in place to allow emergency services to respond to the incident.”
