Harry Redknapp will headline Westbourne’s Christmas Light Switch On when he joins the Mayor of Bournemouth to illuminate the high street this Saturday.
The celebration is being delivered by Bournemouth Coastal BID, with traders contributing their own money to boost the decorations across Westbourne this year.
Sonia Shaw said the support of local businesses makes it possible to run events that bring communities together. Fiona McArthur said working closely with traders helps create festive experiences that strengthen the high street.
Kenny Woodhead said businesses are proud to help brighten the area and offer the lights as a gift to residents.
Funky Little Choir will perform upbeat festive songs for a community singalong, and Santa will be on hand for photos.
