Beach House rebuild set for 2027 opening
The Beach House at Mudeford has confirmed a positive result from its recent licensing hearing, allowing the team to move forward with plans to rebuild the site that was damaged by fire in 2018.
The business said it remains committed to serving customers and the local community and thanked those who supported its petition and attended the hearing.
Construction is expected to begin in late 2026, with reopening planned for spring 2027.
The new building will feature a redesigned layout bringing together an improved takeaway service and the return of the à la carte restaurant overlooking the harbour.
The team said the intention is to create a refreshed dining space for local residents and visitors.
A new Huttie Club will be launched early next year to give hut owners a direct way to share views, receive updates, and stay involved in the project. The team said they welcome all feedback and want to maintain open communication throughout the rebuilding process
