Residents asked to shape council budget
People in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are being asked to help guide how the council balances its budget for the next financial year.
Residents, businesses and community groups can visit the council’s website and complete a survey offering views on where spending should rise or fall across key services.
The consultation also invites people to identify the services they consider most important and to share their thoughts on council tax.
The findings will help shape budget decisions for twenty twenty six to twenty twenty seven and future years.
Councillor Mike Cox said the council wants to hear directly from residents during what he described as an extremely challenging time for local authorities, adding that recent financial planning has helped avoid more serious intervention.
The consultation closes at eleven fifty nine on Sunday fourteen December. You can complete the survey and submit their ideas by visiting bcpcouncil.gov.uk/budget
Hard copies are also available at local libraries.
