Charity day boosts support for local care

Charities across Dorset will benefit after Hall and Woodhouse confirmed sixty six thousand pounds was raised through its annual Charity Day.

Half of the net sales from the company’s managed pubs were donated, with each venue supporting its chosen local charity and a combined share going to Lewis Manning Hospice Care.

The hospice will receive more than thirty three thousand pounds, which it says will fund a nurse to carry out over two thousand patient visits.

Hall and Woodhouse said the initiative reflects its commitment to community support, while Lewis Manning Hospice Care said the donation will have a lasting impact on people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
