A woman in her twenties has died following an incident on the railway near Bournemouth station.
Emergency services were called to the line at around 8.18am yesterday (Sunday 16th November 2025) after reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics attended but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives from British Transport Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death and are appealing for anyone who may have seen her in the area earlier that morning to come forward.
The woman was wearing a black puffa-style jacket and blue jeans.
