Halloween party brings thrills to Canford Cliffs

Canford Cliffs Village is preparing for a night of spooky family fun as the Halloween Street Party returns on Thursday evening, organised by LuxeFlorae Floral Design and Events.

Running from 6pm to 8pm, the free event will bring the community together for an evening of entertainment, costumes and laughter. Now in its third year, the street party has grown rapidly, attracting more than 3,000 visitors last year.

Organiser Esra Gunputh said she was delighted by the event’s success and is hoping for an even bigger turnout this year. “It’s going to be good fun and everyone will be dressing up, even the parents,” she said.

Families can enjoy trick-or-treating along the decorated street, visit a haunted house, and watch live performances from a fire breather and stilt walker. The much-loved Purple Monster mascot will also be making an appearance to delight younger visitors.

Local shops will be transformed with spooky window displays created by LuxeFlorae, while traders hand out sweets to children taking part in the celebrations.

“It’s all free and for the children,” added Esra. “The whole event is about bringing people together, making people smile, and celebrating a wonderful community.”

The Halloween Street Party is open to all ages, and families are encouraged to come in costume for a frightfully fun evening in the heart of Canford Cliffs.
