Expanded half-term fun at BH Live Active
An expanded programme of activities has been announced for half-term at BH Live Active centres next week.
Children across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole can look forward to a week of fun and fitness this October half-term as BH Live Active centres roll out its programme of activities.
The centres are offering swimming crash courses, sports camps, trampolining, basketball, and family gym sessions to keep young people active during the school break.
For younger visitors, there’s soft play available at the Terrace Cafés at Littledown, Pelhams and Corfe Mullen. Inflatable attractions include The Crusher pool inflatable at Littledown, AirJumpX at Sir David English Sports Centre, and Raptor Run at Pelhams.
Families can also make a splash with Wet and Wacky pool sessions filled with inflatables and water toys, while free swimming is available for all under-fives when accompanied by an adult.
Bobby Cole, Group Swim and Junior Activities Manager at BH Live, said the aim was to give children the chance to stay active and have fun. “Whether it’s diving into our pools, bouncing on our new inflatables, or joining a holiday club, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
A Halloween disco will also take place at Littledown on Friday 31 October with games, dancing competitions and fancy dress. Full details and timetables can be found on the BH Live Active website and app.
