Woman brought to safety after roof incident

A woman has been brought to safety following an incident in Bournemouth town centre this morning.

Emergency services were called to Richmond Hill at around 10.11am on Wednesday 15 October after concerns were raised for the welfare of a woman on the roof of a building.

Police, fire and ambulance crews attended, and road closures were put in place for the safety of those involved.

Officers made efforts to engage with the woman, who was safely brought down from the roof at around 12.20pm.

Richmond Hill was reopened once the incident was resolved and the woman received support from emergency services at the scene.
