Three-year-old injured in Bournemouth crash
A three year old boy is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a blue Vauxhall Vivaro van in a car park off Lansdowne Road.
Emergency services were called to the Lansdowne Court car park at 12.36pm on Saturday 4 October, and the child was taken to hospital where injuries were confirmed serious.
His family has been informed and a full investigation is under way to establish the circumstances of the collision by officers.
Dorset Police said the van driver has been spoken to and is assisting with enquiries, and at this stage no arrests have been made.
Sergeant Richard Stroud, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “Our thoughts are with the young boy and his family” today.
He added that enquiries remain ongoing and urged anyone who saw what happened, or has information that might assist, to come forward.
