Snap Fitness to open new Winton gym
A new 24-hour gym is opening in Winton this December, bringing fitness facilities to the former Wilko site on Wimborne Road.
The first-floor space has been transformed to house Snap Fitness Winton, a franchised business providing over 9,000 square feet of equipment and exercise areas, including two group studios and a dedicated Reformer Pilates studio.
Features include an infrared sauna, a treatment room, high-end recovery tools and top of the range Hammer Strength and Life Fitness equipment. The Reformer Pilates studio will include beds with built-in touchscreens offering more than 800 on-demand workouts accessible at any time.
The opening will create several new jobs in the local area and marks the first Snap Fitness gym for its two new franchisees.
A spokesperson said the team were excited to bring a community-focused gym to Winton, adding that the aim was to create a space where “people of all abilities can feel comfortable and welcome”.
Snap Fitness has 107 franchised gyms across the UK and Ireland and over 1,000 worldwide. Members at the new Winton site will have the ability to use all of its global locations.
The gym will open in December, with more details available on the Snap Fitness website.
