Police officer in hospital after A31 crash
A police officer has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A31 near Stag Gate.
Emergency services were called at around 9.30pm on Monday 29 September after a marked police vehicle collided with another car between Stag Gate and the Roundhouse Roundabout.
The officer was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital with a suspected leg injury. He was reported to be conscious and a further update on his condition is awaited.
No injuries were reported for the occupant of the other car.
Road closures were put in place while emergency services responded. Dorset Police thanked drivers for their patience and understanding during the disruption.
