A31 in Sturminster Marshall is blocked in both directions due to a collision between the Roundhouse Roundabout and Bere Regis following a serious incident, according to National Highways.
It’s expected to be closed until the early hours of the morning.
The A35 is also closed between Bere Regis and Morden Park Corner for ongoing roadworks.
The incident involved a marked Police car – an officer suffered a leg injury and was taken to hospital.

Westbound
At the Roundhouse Roundabout take the third exit on to the A350 northbound towards Blandford
Remain on the A350 to the Badger Roundabout near Blandford St Mary
Take the first exit from the roundabout on to the A354 towards Dorchester
Remain on the A354 to the Northbrook Interchange with the A35
Eastbound
At the Northbrook Interchange exit and at the roundabout take the first exit on to the A354 towards Blandford
Remain on the A354 to the Badger Roundabout near Blandford St Mary
Take the third exit on to the A350 towards Poole
Remain on the A350 to the Roundhouse Roundabout with the A31
